The Composites Processing and Fabrication sessions will focus on innovative composite process technologies that enable improved war-fighting capability. The session presentations will be a combination of invited presentations and abstracts selected from industry and government. You are requested to submit abstracts for any organic matrix or ceramic matrix composite manufacturing technologies that meet the above overall session focus. Abstracts should be submitted for presentations which will share the technical details of manufacturing advancements that demonstrate the increase in the manufacturing readiness level of enabling technologies addressing warfighter needs for propulsion and structures. Presentations are expected to provide detailed technical information on manufacturing processes, validation testing and transition risk reduction activities.
It is anticipated that some of the technical sessions will focus on advanced manufacturing technologies being matured for current weapon systems such as the F-35 and on advancing manufacturing innovation such as out of autoclave processing. Only submit abstracts if the technical details of the project can be presented. |
