The Composites Processing and Fabrication sessions will focus on innovative composite processing related technologies that enable improvements in cost and performance for DoD systems.
The session presentations will be a combination of invited presentations and abstracts selected from industry and government. Technical sessions will focus on advanced manufacturing and supporting technologies being matured which are shaping the future of the DoD composites production supplier base. Topics may include but are not limited to: Modeling/Simulation; Intelligent Manufacturing; Advancing processes such as out of autoclave, thermoplastic composites, additive, automation, etc.; Non-Destructive Inspection; Knowledge Management; Bonding and Assembly; Technology Demonstrations.
You are requested to submit abstracts for any organic matrix, ceramic matrix composite or polymeric manufacturing technologies that meet the above overall focus. Abstracts should be submitted for presentations which will share the technical details of manufacturing advancements, demonstrations, transition to products which increase in the manufacturing readiness level of enabling technologies addressing warfighter needs for propulsion, armor, and structures. Presentations are expected to provide detailed technical information on manufacturing processes, validation testing, transition and transition risk reduction activities.
Only submit abstracts if the technical details of the project can be presented to provide useful information to the attendees.
