The Composites Processing and Fabrication sessions will focus on innovative composite process technologies that enable improved war-fighting capability.
Abstracts are requested for any organic matrix or ceramic matrix composite technologies that meet the above overall session focus. Abstracts should discuss manufacturing advancements that demonstrate the increase in the manufacturing readiness level (MRL) of enabling technologies that address warfighter needs for propulsion and structures. Presentations are expected to provide useful data and information on processing, validation testing and transition risk reduction.
It is anticipated that some of the technical sessions will focus on the following areas of interest: Out of autoclave processing; innovative tooling concepts; turbine engine applications; and manufacturing technologies for weapon system applications – specifically the F-35 and CH-53K.platforms. Abstracts in these topic areas are particularly encouraged. |
